Lauren Trail, BFA 2022

-

Lauren is a graduate from the University of Michigan Penny Stamps School of Art and Design. Majoring in Art and Design, her focus centered on illustration and film. She also pursued minors through the Program in the Environment and the Sweetland Center for Writing.

Her goal is to create content that combines her interests while helping to educate, inspire, and create positive impacts on surrounding communities. Specifically, she centers her work on the relationships between people and the environment, and how they interact with one another. Storytelling through art can be an important tool to help empower, advocate, entertain, and spread awareness about various topics ranging from helping conserve our national forests to how social media impacts our perceptions of ourselves and others. She hopes that her work can add to the important conversations happening in society, making positive impacts within our own lives and our planet's.
