What Flows Through Us
A graphic novel memoir on water quality and growing up.
"Growing up swimming in Lake Michigan and climbing the Indiana Dunes with her cousins, Lauren's always had a love for the water. Whether it be learning to swim or playing mermaids with best friends in the lake, many of her most memories are centered around the lake...But what if her favorite place isn't all that is seems? How is she supposed to deal with all the pressures on her and her environment?
'What Flows through Us' Explores real issues of water pollution, quality, personal reflection, and the lasting question of 'where do we go from here'?"
